Education Oasis® welcomes and encourages reader submissions. Please read the submission guidelines before submitting your material. We seek the following types of submissions:

-Tips, Techniques, Ideas

-“How-To” or "Inspirational" Articles. These can be geared for the new or veteran teacher. We seek articles which educate, uplift, encourage, and/or entertain our readers. Please read the article guidelines before submitting the article.

-Profiles. Biographical sketches of people who are doing important, innovative work in education. Please read the article guidelines before submitting your profile.

-Project Ideas. Do you have an idea for a research project, pilot project, survey, or other creative endeavor? We welcome your ideas. Please submit queries or proposals by or to the mailing address below

SUBMISSION GUIDELINES

By submitting your material to Education Oasis®, you are acknowledging that you are the original creator of the material. (Materials may be adapted from other sources; however, you must give credit to those sources.) Additionally, you are granting Education Oasis® the right to edit the submission for content, clarity, length, and style as necessary. Currently, Education Oasis® does not pay for submissions. However, you will be credited as the author in a short bio and will be provided a link to your Web site or email, should you desire.

HOW TO SUMBIT

You may submit material by or postal mail. If you submit by e-mail, do not send it as an attachment. Attachments will be deleted, unread. Place the tip/article/profile/idea in the body of the email.

You may also send your material through the mail. Please Note: If you wish to have your material returned, make sure you include a self-addressed envelope with enough postage attached for its return. Our mailing address is:

COPYRIGHT/LEGAL MATTERS

By submitting your material you are granting Education Oasis® the right to publish the material electronically or by other means, as well as make it available to readers in an archive. You retain all other rights.

Guidelines for Articles and Profiles

LENGTH: Generally, articles and profiles should run no more than 2,000 words.

STYLE and MANUSCRIPT PREPARATION: Manuscripts should be clear, concise, and written in a conversational style. Footnotes, when appropriate, should conform to APA guidelines. If you submit the manuscript on paper, it should be typed, double-spaced, and include 1" margins.

GRAPHICS: Graphs, charts, tables, and other illustrations may be submitted with the manuscript on separate pages.
