The National Jewish Book Award: Children's Picture Book (1983 - present) is presented to an author or illustrator of children's books which concern Jewish themes. The award is administered by the Jewish Book Council whose mission it is to promote the reading, writing and publishing of quality English language books of Jewish content in North America. (Note: The last year for which an award was given was 2000.)
