Egg Wreaths

Give each student squares of colorful paper and one "egg" template. Have the students trace the egg pattern onto each square of paper. Then have them cut out each egg shape. Give each student a white or pastel colored paper plate. Have them write "Happy Easter" on the plate and sign their name. Then, arrange the eggs around a outer edge of a paper plate and glue on. Finish off the wreath with a coordinating bow.

Paper Mâché Eggs

Blow up smallish-sized balloons. Tear strips of spring-colored tissue paper. Cover the balloons with liquid starch. (Either paint with a brush or spray.) Place the strips of tissue paper on the balloon. Repeat procedure (paint with liquid starch then place strips on starch.) Lay on newspaper to dry. When fully dry, pop the balloon.
